About Jernee Mill
Jernee Mill is a five-piece Alt-Folk-Rock/Americana band that brings a Jersey attitude to each performance. Rich songwriting, along with great vocal arrangements and melodic hooks keep the audience engaged in the storytelling side of things with this group of Sayreville, NJ natives. Jernee Mill, named after the road that leads to the legendary concert venue - Starland Ballroom, combines the influences of Springsteen, Dylan, Petty, The Lumineers, Brian Fallon and The Gaslight Anthem to bring a fresh brand of storytelling to the astute music fans of Central New Jersey and the Jersey Shore.
Formed in late 2017, Jernee Mill is a combination of two brothers Shaun (Guitar) and Keith (Drums) Turner, their cousin, Kyle Zielinski (Guitar) along with their life-long friend and lead vocalist, Jenn Wagner. In late 2018, the quartet joined forces with a veteran of the NJ music scene, Andrew Rohloff(Life Without Warning, Statik Silence and Ronin).
In April of 2019 Jernee Mill released their latest single - Heartbreak. Since then they have been performing throughout New Jersey including clubs such as Roxy and Dukes and The Crossroads. “I have to admit that I really love the folk-Americana sound these guys have, and singer Jenn Wagner really brings it home with her Joplin-esque vocals. I really enjoyed the song “Small Talk” a lot...”
“Jernee Mill are a surprisingly great band from Sayreville named after the road on which they spent many an hour cutting their alt-roots teeth at Starland Ballroom... Jernee Mill expects to release their first LP, which will include the outstanding single “Get Out while You Can.” ”
“Jernee Mill has been a wonderful addition to my many events around New Jersey. They are extremely professional, have a great sound, and work to accommodate multiple types of venues. The mix of cover songs and originals is a seamless transition- the venue managers, along with the crowds are always pleased. I am confident they will continue to grow, and reach exciting heights in their respective careers. Who knows, maybe we will even hear their songs on the radio someday!” ”
